South Africa has been granted the right to host the 2023 edition of the prestigious Forty under 40 Awards.

The continental showpiece will be held, for the first time outside its traditional base of Ghana, and will be organised by South Africa, in March 2023.

Ghanaian Xodus Communications, the concept creators of the Forty under 40 Africa Awards, have given BW Houer Law Practices, a South African Law Practice, with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Polokwane, the license to host the awards, in South Africa.

BW Houer Law Practices are the sponsors of the Turfloop Sports Club Limited, which recently acquired a 50% equity in the Rusternburg based Platinum City Rovers, which campaigns in the NFD.

The Forty under 40 Africa Awards is a Continental showpiece that identifies, honour and celebrates Africa’s most influential and accomplished young business leaders, under the age of 40 from a wide range of industries, who are committed to business growth, professional excellence and community service.

The President of the BM Houer Law Practices, Mr Nakedi Malahlela II, was awarded with the coveted Forty under 40 Africa Awards, Sports Category, for the immense work of building the Turfloop Sports Club Limited, a multi-sports development entity, based in the Limpopo Province.

South Africa was actually the biggest winner in the 2022 edition, with Mondli Kunene, Kwanele Botina, Eureka Mogane, Masonwabe Fuma, Angela Senosha and Reginald Pillay, emerging triumphant in various categories of the Forty under 40 Africa Awards.

The official launch kick-starts a series of activities, as a build-up that will culminate into the March 2023 continental show.

The Awards are a big continental affair that draws participants from a diverse business spectrum, across the continent.

The event will be attended by past and current winners of the Forty under 40 Africa Awards, Government Leaders, Youth formations, the business community and various embassies of fellow African countries with a footprint in the country.
