Themba Christopher Ganyane ( 28) made his first appearance before the Leslie periodical court on Monday, 13 October 2025, facing charges of rape, kidnapping, and robbery.
According to information at police’s disposal, the accused would rob his victims, rape, and force them to bathe in front of him before fleeing the scene.
He was arrested after being tracked down through a phone he had stolen from his victims. He was allegedly found with stolen items and underwear belonging to his victims.
His arrest happened whilst he was on bail for another previous rape matter.
He is expected to appear before the Leslie periodical court on Monday, 20 October 2025, for a formal bail application.
