Police at Kriel request the community to assist in reuniting a four months old baby girl, Lalicia Magumbu who was taken under false pretence by two females who impersonated Care Givers in Kriel yesterday, 28 December 2023.
According to information, the women reportedly approached little Lalicia Magumbi’s mother at her residential place in Thubelihle outside Kriel and promised to donate food for the baby.
The two females are said to have indicated that before they could donate, they needed to take the child to the clinic for immunisation.
It is reported that at that time around 09h00 am, the little girl was taken. According to the family, the baby was wearing a pink baby grows. Eversince she was taken, the girl was not brought back by the two females.
Hence the Police request anyone who might have information on her whereabouts to assist in reuniting the child with her family by contacting the Kriel Police on 082 798 0723 or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111. Alternatively, members of the public can send information via MYSAPSAPP. All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
