Bellinah Stimulation Center is a center based in Bethal that caters to children with special needs.
The Indawo Yosizo Foundation, in conjunction with different stakeholders, celebrated Mandela Day by refurbishing the center.
Indawo Yosizo Foundation founder, Ms. Zanele Gwebu, dedicated her time to creating a reading corner at the center.
According to Zanele, the aim of creating the reading corner is for the children to know that the advantages of reading help engage various parts of their brain, reading also exercises their comprehension abilities and their analytical abilities.
Which will help them recall information as well as stabilize their emotions.
“We are going to encourage the children that they are able to do anything!We also planted seeds in their garden, installed electricity cables, replaced broken windows, painted gates and walls, fixed doors, and did other activities.
Children ere spoiled with goodie bags, toys, blankets, stationery, groceries, and clothes. Our Mandela Day (67 minutes) was supported by Enpower Machite, Blue Mining Services, Skomplaas Clothing, Tolcon, ,Scm Transport, DOH, DSD, and Philasande NGO.
