Creative & Conceptual is an aftercare school based in Emzinoni Ext 4 and was founded by Mr Sfiso Mdaka.
The aftercare assist learners to develop their own home study schedules, they do homework themselves and it gets assessed and corrected.
Where learners struggle, different ways of solving their problems are used to see if they understand.
C & C believes that financial literacy should be done practically, and as such they buy stock for learners to sell while teaching them the process of accumulating income, running a business and investing money in profitable things.
Learners are encouraged to use their profits to buy the resources they need for school ranging from textbook, study guides software, printing of previous question papers and internet access.
C & C also hosts end year functions to award top achievers.
“Our purpose is to create more potential and offer a safe secure and close personal attention to each child by providing a quality experience for all children, therefore adequate and highly skilled trained personnel are hired to ensure each child has a quality mentoring experience,” said Mr Vusi Masango.
C & C vision is to be amongst the leaders in the academic after care industry, creating employment and always seeking opportunities for growth ways.
The aftercare target learners in high density residential areas; these children go to school on a daily basis but have nowhere to go after school hours, in order to be assisted with homework or improving their reading, writing and numerical skills.
