A body of an African male estimated to be in his 60’s was found at Ext. 14 on Sunday morning, 22 October 2023 I Embalenhle.
This is after a number of bodies have been discovered in and around eMbalenhle since the beginning of October.
The deceased had sustained multiple injuries from the assault, including a stab wound with bruises on his back and under his legs.
He was sitting balanced by a wall fence. Emergency personnel certified him deceased at the scene.
The deceased was then identified by his next of kin as Mr Petros Gwebu from Marikana in Ext. 14.
The police therefore request anyone who might have information that may assist in apprehending the perpetrators to call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111 or send information via MYSAPSAPP.
