The Mpumalanga Youth Council Organisation (MYCO) received a donation of 16 new computers from Kaefer.
Myco is a non-profit organisation based in Embalenhle.
The organisation assist learners through extra classes and with homework, especially mathematics and sciences.
They also have food programmes and skills development activities that help young people who dropped out of school.
Kaefer representative, Mr Chris Van Vuuren said they are giving back to the community since most of their employees are from with the community.
“This will go a long a way.
It is just the beginning of a beautiful partnership,” said Mr Van Vuuren further mentioning that Kaefer will continue to assist and uplift Myco.
Mr Bongani speaking on behalf of the community said the donation will go a long way as it will assist learners to do better, and as the community they will make sure that the computers are taken good care of.
“It is very rare to find a company doing this, especially during these difficult times of COVID-19,” said Bishop Nkabinde who also pledged to assist the centre.
