Rapper and songwriter Tlotliso Tsolo (35), better known by his stage name Gun Fu, was born in Lesotho and raised in South Africa at Standerton, Thuthukani. Tsolo is excited after he released his new single titled ‘Savage’ on Tuesday, 29 July 2025.
According to Tsolo, the single is a bold statement of growth, pain, and power—a sound of survival and self-belief.
Tsolo’s passion for music began in 2002, but he started his professional career around 2010, and he is currently juggling music with other side hustles.
The rapper flexes across trap, hip-hop, R&B, and pop and has released a few tracks, namely “Moving in Silence” and “Banana.”
“Although music comes effortlessly because of the passion, upcoming artists should learn to stay authentic and consistent. Your truth is your biggest weapon,” said Tsolo.
Gun Fu measures himself on global stages, owning his masters and helping local artists break through in the future within the music industry.
