SAPS Soshanguve along with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) patrollers administered a school search at Reabetswe Primary School in Extention one, Soshanguve.
According to a statement released by Constable Zondi, the search conducted on Tuesday 24 May 2022 came as a surprise to the learners as it was unannounced.
“The learners searched were from grade 6 and 7, about 400 in total,” said Zondi.
SAPS and CPF searched for dangerous weapons and illegal substances that pupils were suspected to be carrying to the school on a daily basis.
Mrs Caroline Mahana who is the principal of Reabetswe Primary School, was pleased with how the search went and begged her learners not to carry weapons to the school as that may cause harm to other learners.
