After a long day and exhausting Black Friday at Emba Mall, a young woman came back to her place at Ext 12, eMbalenhle and dealt with the worst imaginable situation on Friday, 25 November 2022 afternoon at about 15h30.

The victim arrived at her place and parked a maroon VW Polo TSI outside.

The young woman went into her house and did not lock the door neither did she lock the bugler door that is when she saw her neighbour held by a male suspect with a knife on her neck.

It is alleged that the suspect took both the victim and neighbour straight to the victim’s bedroom.

Upon entering the bedroom, the first victim found her boyfriend pointed with a gun on his head by the second male suspect who had tied up the boyfriend’s legs and hands.

The victims were taken back to the room where the other victims boyfriend was held and thereafter, the suspects asked for the vehicle registration certificate of the Polo but it was not there as the second victim had left it back home at Limpopo.
