Aphiwe Mje (23), Bongumusa Gujela (31), and Kwaweleza Nono (40) made their first appearance at the Evander Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 19 February 2025.
The trio are facing murder and kidnapping charges with a possibility of more charges being added.
They were arrested on Saturday night for the alleged murder of 26-year-old Abraham Masiteng, whose body was discovered dumped in the Welas River with his private parts cut off.
Friends and family members still want to know where his private parts were taken too.
The matter has been postponed to the 26th of February 2025 for a formal bail application.
