Cynthia Emma Mahlangu is a 22 year old aspiring model from eMbalenhle, Ext 3 in Mpumalanga Province.
She is a finalist for the Miss Urban South Africa 2022 beauty pageant.
The beauty queen with a few titles in her name and pageant coach describes herself as a queen that has a voice for the voiceless and striving for change in South Africa especially amongst the youth.
Cynthia wants the youth to know that they can change their today and tomorrow by giving them hope through the consistency of great leadership.
‘’ I am very passionate about our youth because the future is in our hands and we have to make our beloved country a big developed country regardless of our backgrounds, community and religion.
Currently I am not enrolled at any institution of higher learning but it is my dream to study LLB and specialize in human rights because I want justice and equality in our country.
My inspiration is to see the young people becoming great leaders and entrepreneurs which would assist in decreasing gender based violence, lets change our country one person at a time,” Cynthia said.
Cynthia is a Gender Based Violence advocate and hosts informative and educational seminars on GBV.
“The final date for the pageant is yet to be confirmed therefore keep the votes coming as your support would really mean a lot to me”.
