ANC and SACP support Zuma after a motion of no confidence against him by the DA

Members of the ANC and SACP came out in numbers and are currently picketing outside the Council Chambers at Secunda in support of the GMM Executive Mayor and stability of the municipality.

This is after the Democratic Alliance (DA) of Govan Mbeki filed a motion of no confidence against the municipality’s Executive Mayor, Cllr. Nhlakanipho Zuma.

The DA filed this motion in December 2024 before the first ordinary council meeting for 2025.

Individuals from the ANC and SACP believe that there has been stability in our municipality since the current administration took over in 2021.
