It has been three (3) consecutive weeks since Andries Teller appeared before the Bethal Magistrate court without his lawyer present.
Teller reappeared again before the Bethal Magistrate’s court on Friday, 19 May 2023 on the charge of the murder of Lindiwe Dladla.
Teller’s attorney finally showed up in court after missing three of Teller’s court appearances where he asked for further postponement of the case for a formal bail application.
Teller is still in custody for the matter at hand. There are further allegations that he was out on parole for another matter.
The matter was further postponed to Monday, 29 May 2023.
Teller was therefore asked to contact his lawyer and make arrangements for them to be available at the next court appearance.
