For the past four (4) weeks, primary schools around Govan Mbeki Municipality, including Shapeve Primary School, Vukuzithathe Primary School, Mbalenhle Primary School, SS Mshayisa Primary School, and Petrus Maziya Primary School, have been celebrating all hard-working learners by hosting their award prize-giving ceremonies.
The aim of the ceremonies was to recognize and celebrate learners achievements.
Parents and teachers showed pride to all awarded learners and emphasized how they should always be focused on their schoolwork.
Learners received certificates, medals, and the top 3 learners also received trophies.
Teachers also wore their graduation gowns and belts to motivate the learners that it does not only end with receiving certificates.
