Chopper bursts into flames near Ogies

Two people died after the tail of their chopper broke and send it into a spin.

Brig Leornard Hlathi said Mr Bertie (Jacobus Albertus) Truter aged 56 and his employee, Mr Oupa Pieter Ntuli aged 36 where flying in a R44 Robinson helicopter over Truter’s farm, near Arbor in Ogies when the incident happen at around 11am on Wednesday, 28 February..

The chopper fell in the field and burst into flames, claiming both lives.
