The Pearls of Great Worth hosted a get-together for women around Govan Mbeki Municipality on Saturday, 02 November 2024, at Q’s Hotel and Apartments in Evander.
The aim of the event was to educate women about current issues affecting them and promote women’s unity.
The event also aimed to inspire women and also forget about the negative aspects that one has encountered in 2024.
Esteemed guest speakers, including the host, Mrs Ncumisa Mdlankomo, shared their words of wisdom.
“I fully believe that one can be an ATM where people deposit their money, but sometimes you should reject some notes.
I mean, one can accept the things they cannot change, but sometimes just stand your ground and reject it.
Ladies, please never forget to pray. God is there; he is listening; one just needs to believe in him and let it be,” said Mdlankomo.
In closing, refreshments were served while others were networking and meeting new people.
