Curro Secunda claims first position at the Thistle Grove Friends of the library second annual debate

Thistle Grove Friends of the Library hosted their second annual debate competition on Tuesday, 15 April 2025, at the Kinross Sasol Club.

The following schools participated in the debate under the topic of bullying:

Thistle Grove Combined School, Sasolia Primary School, Highveld Muslim School, Kinross Primary School, Osizweni Primary School,

Trichardsfontein Primary School, Highveld Ridge Primary School, Allan Makhunga Primary School, Cum Laude Private School,

Curro Secunda Primary School and Langelihle Primary School.

Osizweni Primary School claimed third position after obtaining 959 points, while Highveld Muslim School bagged in second position after obtaining 972 points.

Curro Secunda Primary School reigned champions of the debate after obtaining 1045 points, getting them the first position. They will keep the floating trophy till the next year.
