The family of Madikgetla is requesting the help of the public to honour the late Kevin Madikgetla’s memory and call for justice.
The late Kevin Madikgetla (19) who was a Grade 12 learner at the time of his passing, met his tragic demise when a fellow learner stabbed him after school hours on the 27th of February 2025.
The suspect who was also a learner at the same school appeared in court and was granted bail. It was also mentioned in court that his parents received a transfer letter and will be moving him to another school.
According to the family, a peaceful march to deliver a memorandum of demands to the Department of Education in Secunda will be held on Friday, 02 May 2025.
The family humbly asks for support to help make the day possible and the message to be heard.
The donations will help cover memorial t-shirts, water for individuals attending the march, a mobile toilet, protest posters and materials.
