Nkangala District Municipality (NDM), in partnership with the Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA), has appointed learners for a lernership program in various fields for the unemployed youth within the district.
A total of five hundred (500) learners have been recruited from the six local municipalities.
The program will be running for a period of twelve (12) months.
NDM hosted the launch of this program on Wednesday, 08 November 2023 at Sydney Choma Banquet Hall in Middelburg.
The activities of the day included, among others, handing over letters of appointment, induction, and messages of encouragement.
The event was attended by political offices and senior government officials from the three spheres of government, traditional leaders, LGSETA, service providers, and the 500 beneficiaries.
