In celebration of Women’s Month, the eMbalenhle Ext 4 clinic conducted an opening day on Thursday, 03 August 2023 at the clinic.
According to Sister Jane Mathlou who is the clinic’s manager, the purpose of the event is to give the platform to community members to open up about their challenges and know the services provided at the clinic.
Community members had a great opportunity to learn more about various diseases and how to avoid contracting them.
Different stakeholders including HEAPS, eMbalenhle SAPS, fire department and other nurses from around Govan Mbeki Municipality were invited to celebrate the opening day.
Although the event was held on clinic property, all patient services and business hours were as usual.
