The eMbalenhle Ext 4 clinic hosted an open day on Thursday, 03 October 2024, at the clinic.

The main purpose of the event was to alert the community as to how they could utilise the clinic and promote better health care.

Community members had a great opportunity to learn more about various diseases and how to avoid contracting them.

Different services were also provided on the day by other health stakeholders, which included HIV testing, blood pressure, and other chronic illnesses.

Sr. Jane Matlou, operational manager, addressed the community about the services provided at the clinic.

“We are happy to interact with the community members because we believe that it is important for them to ask questions and gain knowledge about other services provided in our clinic,” said Sr. Matlou.

The event was graced by the presence of different stakeholders including, SAPS, Fire Department, Men’s Voice, HEAPS and the sub-district PAC supervisor, Malerato Nkosi.
