Four people were killed on Monday morning when a Light Delivery Vehicle (LDV) and a sedan were involved in a head-on collission on P168 Road between Ermelo and Lothair.In the sedan, there were five (5) occupants where one was a child about two (2) years of age.
One female passenger was transported to hospital while the other three (3) occupants, a male and two (2) females, including the child, passed on.
The slightly injured driver of the LDV who was alone in the vehicle was transported to the nearby hospital for treatment.
It is not clear as to what the cause of the crash was. However, dangerous overtaking could not be tiled out. The investigation is already underway.
