Gert Sibande District Municipality (GSDM) announced the passing of the Honourable Speaker for council, Cllr Joshua Nkosi.
Mr Nkosi was said to have died on Saturday, 25 July 2020 due to a COVID-19 related illness.
GSDM Communications Manager, Ms Bongi Dube remembered Cllr Nkosi as someone who was passionate about his work and very vocal about how proud he was of the leadership that saw the institution receive two clean audit opinions in two consecutive years.
“The entire GSDM leadership and staff personnel send their messages of support, condolences and pray for strength to the Nkosi family during this time of bereavement.
May His soul rest in eternal peace,” said Ms Dube.
