Though homeless people at the temporary shelter in Kinross were aware of the fact that they were only accommodated until Level 1 of the lockdown, it was not easy for some of them when they were told to vacate the shelter on Wednesday, 23 September.
According to the Department of Social Development, all the people who were accommodated at the temporary shelter were prepared for the closure of the centre.
Some of them were reunited with their families, some opted to go back to the streets while looking for jobs, and the other group requested to be taken for rehabilitation.
At the Centre they used to get three meals a day, and now they will have to fend for themselves.
