Lindi Masina elected Speaker of the 7th Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature

Ms Lindi Lettie Masina was elected the Speaker of the Mpumalanga Legislature during its first sitting of the 7th Provincial Legislature on Friday, 14 June 2024.

Ms Masina who is a former Executive Mayor of the Govan Mbeki Municipality thanked the people of Govan Mbeki Municipality and Gert Sibande District Municipality for giving her formative experiences, support and inspiration.

“I commit to work with all political parties so that the business of the house is undertaken seamlessly.

I therefore look forward to constructive engagement and co-operation amongst all honorable.”
