Lt. Colonel Andries Lebepe bids goodbye to the Kinross community after serving as their station commander since the year 2022.
He has been transferred to Tweefontein Police Station and his last day at the Kinross Police Station was Monday, 30 March 2026.
In a heartfelt message, he shared with the community a written statement.
“My Beloved Community Members. Trust that this message finds you well.
It is with a heavy heart that I am leaving Kinross SAPS by the end of this month.
As I prepare to step down from my role as Kinross Station Commander, I do so with a full heart and deep gratitude for the privilege of serving you.
From the very first day, my mission was clear — to protect, to serve, and to build a relationship of trust with every member of this community.
Together, we have faced challenges, celebrated successes, and strengthened the bonds that made this community resilient and united.
I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.
Your cooperation, support, and commitment to safety have made a lasting difference.
Policing is not done by officers alone; it is a partnership, and I thank you for walking this journey with us.
While I may be leaving this position, my respect and appreciation for this community will remain with me always.
I have every confidence that the station will continue to serve you with dedication and integrity.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives. It has truly been an honor.
Stay safe, look out for one another, and continue building the strong community we all believe in,” he wrote
