A woman lost her life in a shack fire on Saturday, 28 March 2026, at about 11 am.
The incident happened in Kinross Ext 33 (also known as Marikana).
According to information at the police’s disposal, an emergency call was made alerting them of a house fire and the person trapped inside.
Upon arrival their arrival, the house was nearly completely burnt down.
The fire brigades and the ambulance were summoned to the scene, and the woman was declared deceased at the scene of the incident.
Seskhona Media will try to get the details of the person to be contacted for the donations, as the family lost everything in a fire.
