A case of rape was reported on Monday, 07 March 2022 at SAPS Soshanguve.
It is alleged that the victim was raped by her boyfriend when she had visited him at his place.
She found him drinking alcohol with his cousin at his place when she decided to go to bed, then when she woke up she noticed that sexual intercourse took place while she was asleep.
Thereafter the victim confronted her boyfriend about her suspicion and the boyfriend allegedly assaulted her physically and verbally.
A case docket was investigated and led to the arrest of a 37-year-old male on Monday, 21 March 2022.
The suspect is due to appear in the Pretoria North Magistrate Court on Wednesday, 23 March 2022.
