A 29-year-old male appeared before the Evander Magistrates Court on Monday, 14 July 2025, on charges of housebreaking.
The accused’s arrest came after he was found inside Gogo’s house, after breaking a window to gain entry.
He was allegedly found naked in Gogo’s bed with his clothes on the floor.
The state led evidence from the investigation officer and the old woman, citing that the complainant won’t feel safe should the accused be released on bail, as they are neighbors.
However, the presiding officer granted the accused bail to the amount of R500 on the condition that he move to another extension far from where the woman lives and that he should not make contact with her in any way until the matter is finalized.
