A 44 year old man, Mhlolo Paul Ngomane was arrested for the murder of his wife and his mother-in-law, at Kabokweni near Nelspruit.
Police arrested him following a tip off.
The suspect was said to have allegedly shot and killed his 39 year old wife and her 54 year old mother (mother-in-law) at the wife’s parental home in Kabokweni, on Thursday, 29 March and went into hiding.

The alleged murder firearm was handed over to the police by a relative.
The suspect has been on the run until his arrest Tuesday, 3 April.
He appeared in court facing two counts of murder on Wednesday, 4 April.
He was remanded in custody and will appear on Thursday, 12 April for a formal bail application.
The Provincial Commissioner of police in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Mondli Zuma commended the cooperation by the community which ensured that a fugitive is brought to book.
