A man was shot on his thigh during house robbery on Wednesday, 4 July.
The incident was said happened at around 3.45pm, Naudée Street in Bethal.
The victim reported that two males armed with firearms stormed into his house while he was sitting with his brother and demanded money.
They shot him on his thigh and fled the house with R6000 and a cellphone valued at R600.
The victim was taken to the hospital and a case of house robbery was opened.
Const Thomas Mogadime from Bethal Police Station said a count 2 of attempted murder was also added.
