Govan Mbeki Municipality is proudly represented on the national stage as Makhosi Mthuli Zulu has been announced as a Mrs Township South Africa Semi-Finalist, representing Charl Cilliers.
Makhosi is an accomplished employee wellness social worker, specialising in family preservation through media dialogues, professional counselling, and comprehensive psychosocial support services.
Her work is deeply rooted in strengthening families and empowering communities, particularly those facing social and economic challenges.
Her participation in the Mrs Township South Africa Pageant goes beyond the pursuit of the crown. Makhosi has entered the competition as a platform to amplify her philanthropic initiatives, which focus on mentoring and preparing young people for the demands of an ever-changing world.
Through her work, she aims to bridge gaps by connecting youth with critical resources, development opportunities, and potential sponsors.
By combining advocacy, community development, and leadership, Makhosi hopes to inspire positive change while showcasing the strength, resilience, and talent that exists within township communities.
