Dear Members of Our Community and neighboring areas

Thasasa (Pty)Ltd Management is writing to update our communities on latest developments within our organization and address the unsubstantiated allegations of fraud that were brought to discredit integrity and reputation of our CEO, Mr. Masasa R. Makhetha.

It is at this juncture that the community is being made aware that all charges were withdrawn by the Evander Regional Court effective from 03 September 2026.

These allegations were extremely serious, and Thasasa (Pty)Ltd management fully understands the concerns and uncertainty these allegations may have caused among our employees, partners, clients and wider community.

It is at times like this that Thasasa (Pty)Ltd Management wishes to clarify Sole Directorship of sister companies. Mr. Masasa Makhetha is a Sole Director of Lehaheng Holdings (Pty)Ltd, which has 100% Shareholding of Thasasa (Pty)Ltd and Dream African Foundations.

Nonetheless, all these challenges have not derailed Mr. Masasa’s responsible leadership. He is deeply committed to the valued culture of integrity, honesty, accountability, transparency and respect for the people and communities we serve and operate from.

At the same time, Thasasa (Pty)Ltd has laid charges against all who acted fraudulently in this matter and Thasasa (Pty)Ltd Management humbly requests everyone to allow the legal process to take its course until this matter is resolved.

Our Thasasa (Pty)Ltd Management, on behalf of our CEO, will ensure that our company continues to operate and serve our communities, clients, employees, partners and remain focused on moving forward constructively.

Mr. Masasa has expressed his gratitude to all people of our communities for the support they have shown him during this time of difficulty and on his behalf, Thasasa (Pty)Ltd Management will continue to update and communicate to all stakeholders responsibly as appropriate, while drawing lines on legal process to take place and to allow us all an opportunity to move forward with fairness, dignity and renewed focus on the future endeavors.
