Mthobisi Innocent Nkosi from eMbalenhle Ext.25 is a professional boxer who is very passionate about boxing and will be competing in the Mpumalanga Bantamweight boxing competition.
Mr Nkosi started boxing in 2005 and with commitment and dedication to his training became a professional boxer in the year 2011.
He describes himself as a person who lives for boxing and between the years Nkosi has competed in ten (10) boxing matches, winning five (5), one (1) being a draw and loosing only three (3).
‘’Growing up I was very active in athletics at school when Sipho Dludlu, my former school mate encouraged me to join boxing.
When I started with the training I immediately connected with the sport.
In 2005 I won my first junior match which was the start of my career in boxing,’’ said Nkosi.
Mr Nkosi will compete against Mr Arnel Lubisi from Middleburg under Mpumalanga title in the Bantamweight for a provincial title.
The match will be held at Steve Tshwete Banquet hall in Middleburg, Mpumalanga on 08 July 2022 at 16:00 till 23h00.
The match will be televised live.
Mr Nkosi needs assistance with a sponsor for his boxing kit.
The kit includes size 6 boxing boots, fully protected training suits, boxing gloves, trousers and a Jacket.
