The Black Management Forum Mpumalanga has voted Mr Mawela Ndlamlenze as their chairperson during its Annual General Meeting held on Saturday, 18 August.

The meeting was aimed at deliberating on its Annual Performance, of which among many the following was achieved:

•Knowledge sharing in conducting skills and educational programmes.

•Canvassing for BMF members for both business opportunity and employment.

•Mentorship programmes.

Mr Ndlamlenze hails from Ermelo and was the Provincial Secretary of Black Management Forum.

He has served in various non-profit organizations and hold qualifications within the Internal Audit profession.

Mr Ndlamlenze is currently employed by Govan Mbeki Municipality under the Risk Management Section and serve in the Audit and Risk Management Committees.

The forum tasked him to ensure that he champions:

•Affirmative action

•Economic transformation
•Assist in black SMME development

•Grow the BMF footprint •Amalgamate black forums under one umbrella

•Establish a Mpumalanga BMF investment fund

•Lobby for harsher penalties for non-adherence to Employment Equity and BEE.
