Ms Phindile Latha made her first appearance at the Evander Magistrate Court today facing kidnapping charge.
This came after she was arrested for kidnapping a 5-day-old baby in Embalenhle.
The case was postponed to Friday, 19 November 2021 for a formal bail application while she remains in custody.
The media made a formal application to take her photograph and was granted.
