The school won a cheque of twenty thousand Rand (R20 000.00) for the school, a trophy, certificates and tablets for each of the three learners who presented the project.
‘’I am very proud of the hard work the teachers put together as this competition started at a school level where many leaners took part, when the competition continued some of them dropped until the three went up to the regional competition where they did very well obtaining position one (1).
I extend my regards to the teachers and also the parents who played a vital role behind the learners,’’ said principal Gamede.
The school plans to utilize the funds towards purchasing science equipment so that all the grades can be in a position to start early with science experiments.
