Soshanguve SAPS held an engagement session with Tshwane Metro Police, Gauteng Traffic, Department of Correctional Services, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Social Services, Department of Community Safety, Soshanguve Taxi Owners Association and members of the community.
The motive of the gathering held on Wednesday, 18 May 2022 was to sensitise all the stakeholders present of the crime within the SAPS Soshanguve policing area.
It was also to come up with solutions on how the departments can work together to eradicate crime within the region.
Recently Soshnaguve SAPS has been challenged with crimes such as carjackings, house robberies, business robberies, assaults, street robberies, murders and all other related crimes.
SAPS Soshanguve Station Commander Brigadier Michelle-Ann Toohey urged all the stakeholders in attendance to come on board and work closely with SAPS Soshanguve.
The action was motivated by Henry Ford’s quote which says “if everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself”
