Macnose Café popularly known as Short left in Soshanguve, Block K was robbed on 06 March 2022.

Three armed suspects wearing balaclavas entered the property and fired gunshots.

The club was packed with party-goers at 22h45 when the robbery took place.

It is alleged that the suspects fired 3 gunshots but luckily no one was injured.

Multiple videos were shared on social media platforms wherein patrons are seen hiding underneath the tables, crawling for safety.

Patrons were left puzzled and shocked after the suspects fled the establishment.

According to Constable Zondi, the police spokesperson of the Soshanguve Police Station, properties amounting to R128 000 were stolen by the suspects, including a red Acer laptop and the rest being the money they took in the cash till machines.

The witnesses informed the police that the suspects fled the scene of the crime on foot and they were seen walking into the next block which is Block L.

“No arrests have been made so far, our detectives are still tracing the suspects, therefore an investigation is still underway”, Zondi said

A case docket was opened immediately after the incident.
