President Cyril Ramaphosa will deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA) today on Thursday, 09 February 2023.
In the speech, President Cyril Ramaphosa will outline the government’s major policy goals and deliverables for the year, identify problems, and describe measures to maximize the potential of our country.
President will also discuss accomplishment since his previous speech in 2022 during his speech. He will also consider how the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery (ERRP) plan is coming along.
Police minister Bheki Cele stated that today no one will disturb the state address as they will be working hard to make sure that the President is protected and comfortable in addressing the nation.
“Anybody that gets out of the way today, who will try to be clever than those that are clever, must be shown that today is a wrong day,” said Bheki Cele.
