Lessons have resumed at Emdibini Primary, since the school gates were shut down by parents on Wednesday 18 January after the bus was instructed to leave some of the leaners behind.
The parents of learners from Kinross saw it fit to shut down the school until the issue was resolved.
On Monday, 23 January 2023 all learners returned back to school and learning was back to normal this is meanwhile another bus was allocated to pick up the left behind leaners.
There is currently one more bus added for the learners and the parents seem happy with the arrangement.
The school could not comment regarding there matter and have since said they do not know anything regarding the arrangement.
“We are pleased that the Department of Education heard our outcry after we went to the school, all our children are now able to be transported to school with the buses contracted by the Department,” said Ms Thembi Vilakazi.
