Vukanini Youth Desk under the Vukanini Taxi Association visited the Ratanang Senior Club in Kinross on Friday, 17 October 2025.
The aim of the visit was to hand over sports equipment.
The handover comes after a letter of request was sent to the association earlier this year.
The equipment handed over to the club included:
• 4 soccer balls
• 1 netball ball
• 3 rugby balls
• 10 packs of tennis balls
• 4 dumbbells
• 2 hockey sticks
”This means a lot to the club because three (3) of our members have qualified to participate at the regional games in Ermelo, so the equipment will help them practise for the upcoming games. Indeed, Vukanini Taxi Association can be trusted because we now have our own equipment which will help us,” said Busiswe Mabena, Chairperson of the Ratanang Senior Club.
The senior club was launched in 2023 and has since been participating in different activities.
“We love seeing our elders happy, and we are sorry that we took time to share this moment with them, but as the VUKTA Youth Desk, we received blessings from the chairperson, Mr Sibanyoni, and the executive to support this initiative,” said Surgent Skosana from the Vukanini Youth Desk.
