The Jiyane family lost everything this morning, 01 August 2024 at about 07h00 when fire broke in their son’s room.
Unfortunately, nothing could be saved from the fire.
The 14-year-old son was transported to the hospital with severe burns.
The family of four could not salvage anything and do not know where they will sleep tonight.
They are pleading for donations of any kind, including blankets, school uniforms, furniture, and the materials to help rebuild their shack.
