A 35-year-old woman was discovered deceased on Thursday morning, 30 May 2024, in her room by her sister at Ext. 2 in eMbalenhle.
The police were then informed of the gruesome discovery and swiftly responded to the scene.
According to information at police disposal, the deceased was discovered in bed naked, with blood in her mouth and bruises on her neck.
Emergency personnel certified the woman deceased at the scene.
The sister of the deceased informed the police that her boyfriend was the last person to be seen with the deceased.
The said boyfriend’s picture is currently circulating on social media platforms.
A murder case was opened, and an investigation is currently underway.
The police believe that the said boyfriend will assist probe with the investigations.
