A woman was found deceased in a veld in Extension 23, Emzinoni, early this morning.
According to the information received, the deceased sustained multiple stab wounds.
Emzinoni Police Station Communication Officer, Sgt Cynthia Mtsweni, confirmed that the woman’s body was discovered and that her identity has already been confirmed by her family.
Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
The motive for the alleged murder is not yet known.
