In celebration of Youth Month, youngsters of the CHESA Foundation donated clothes to children and women in need on Monday, 01 June 2026, at Flame Carwash, Ext 5 in eMbalenhle.

The donations aimed to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and women.

The initiative was more than just a distribution of clothes; it was a demonstration of compassion, unity, and the spirit of giving back.

“Seeing smiles on the faces of those who received assistance reminds us why CHESA Foundation exists—to serve and uplift our communities,” said Nobuhle Gwebu, the CEO of CHESA Foundation.

Nobuhle expressed gratitude to everyone who donated drive a success.

The youngsters believe that the drive will also restore dignity and show compassion because a simple act of kindness can bring warmth to a child, confidence to a mother, and encouragement to a family facing difficult circumstances.

“I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed towards this donation drive, especially Ackermans store in Mall@Emba; your generosity demonstrates that together we can create meaningful change and build a caring society.

To all the beneficiaries present today, please know that this donation comes from a place of love and respect. We hope these items will be of value to you and your families,” said Velly Nkosi, President of CHESA Foundation.

Mr Nkosi further stated that as CHESA Foundation, they remain committed to their motto: “Bringing the Future Today.” They will continue working with communities, stakeholders, and volunteers to uplift lives and create opportunities for a better tomorrow.

“Thank you for your support, thank you for your presence, and thank you for believing in the spirit of giving. Together, we can make a difference,” he said.
