DA Mading risk management and tactical response unit and Ward 14 Democratic Alliance (DA) Councilor, Cllr. Mkhwebani visited the elderly persons at Christian Fellowship Church in Ext 18, eMbalenhle on Wednesday, 15 May 2024.

The aim of the visit was to donate blankets as an initiative to give back to the community and ensure that the elderly are kept warm and comfortable during the winter season.

“Elderly persons are a blessing to us, as we believe that a parent is not only the one who gave birth to you,” said Cornelius Khanye, Director of DA Mading.

More than 30 blankets were donated to the elders.

“I hope that God blesses you more and more with your company,” said Gogo Mahlangu in tears of joy.

The DA Mading team wishes to help more elderly people and take care of them.

“You can help change a life because no one has ever become poor from giving,” said Noluthando Simelane, Manager of DA Mading in closing.
