Sasol Mining employee was diagnosed positive for the Corona Virus on Sunday, 17 May 2020.
According to Senior Manager, Communication and Brand Management Ms Rethabile Ndjibu, the employee was tested by a private doctor.
The employee is in self-isolation and contact tracing was initiated immediately.
Ndjibu further mentioned that the company is cooperating with all relevant authorities.
“Sasol remains committed to the safety and health of its employees, service providers and the community,” said Ndjibu.
