A mother of two (2) young children nearly lost her life when an alleged 29 year old ‘psycho’ male visited and asked to have a casual conversation with her outside only to assault her until she was unconscious.
According to the information given to Seskhona Media, the victim did not want to talk to the suspect who is said to be the ex-boyfriend and also a father the second born child.
“Can you please leave, are you not tired of traumatizing my baby?”.
Those were the words of the victim and by that time it was late around 8pm.
The first born child (8) said she saw the suspect pulling her mother’s hair, dragging and forcing to talk to her outside.
The incident was said to have happened inside and outside the woman’s room whereby the suspect allegedly hit her on the head with a brick on Saturday, 05 November 2022 at Ext 12 in Embalenhle.
Other tenants were surprised that the suspect came and wanted to talk to the victim after she had opened a protection order against him as he allegedly assaulted her, came to the house and destroyed some furniture, also took away their one year old baby.
Members of the family were phoned after the woman was rushed to Evander hospital, on their arrival on Sunday, 06 November 2022, the victim was later transferred to a Ermelo hospital for brain scans.
Her younger brother fetched the 8 year old child as the younger one is already back at home and also took a transfer from her school as there is no one to take care of her while the mother is still unconscious in hospital.
It is alleged that the suspect was seen roaming around Trichardt looking for the victim at her workplace and has been stalking her.
According to Constable Busisiwe Mthethwa from Embalenhle Police Station, a case of assault has been opened.
The woman was found with some injuries on her head.
The suspect is still at large and investigation is currently underway.
